Week #4 - Genealogy Education
One of the best ways to learn about genealogy is to attend workshops. Today, I am attending two workshops being given by Thomas MacEntee (Genealogy's Social Media Rock Star) at the Indiana Historical Society in Indianapolis. "Blog Your Ancestors: Read 'Em, Write 'Em, Find 'Em" and "What's in Your Genealogy Toolbox".

Midwestern Roots 2012
I was also fortunate enough to have won the Big Door Prize for the day. A FREE Registration to the Midwestern Roots 2012 event held in July at the Indiana Historical Society.
You don't have to go to big national conventions to get a good genealogy education, there are also many online webinars and resources, that I will post links for a little bit later.
